Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild

The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild brings the creativity and talent of the Grand Strand’s arts community to Booth 716. Founded in 1969 by local artists, the nonprofit Guild promotes and encourages the arts and crafts throughout the Grand Strand. Today, its members include professional and non-professional artists, craftspeople, and art enthusiasts working in a wide range of mediums. While the Guild will not be selling artwork at Booth 716, visitors can stop by to learn more about the Guild, its local gallery, upcoming classes, and local artists. The Guild represents artists working in painting, graphite and charcoal, colored pencils and pastels, jewelry, wood, glass, clay, metal, photography, mixed media, and more. The Guild may also feature one or more local artists demonstrating their creative process during the weekend. Demonstrations are still being finalized, so be sure to stop by Booth 716 to see what’s happening. Make Handmade Craftsmanship Part of Your Home One of the best parts of the Home Improvement & Outdoor Living Show is discovering ideas that go beyond remodeling and renovations. A home improvement project doesn't have to end with new cabinets, flooring, landscaping, or furniture, it can also be about finding the artwork and handcrafted details that make a house feel like home. From Fran Martin Dixon's nature-inspired paintings, to Two Brothers Woodworking's handcrafted furniture, to the wide variety of original artwork represented by the Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild, these exhibitors offer visitors the chance to shop for pieces with creativity, craftsmanship, and personality.
